My story

I was an engineer who knew nothing about money.

Like many people in India, I spent years focused on building my career — studying hard, landing a good engineering job, working on heavy engine systems — while assuming my salary alone would take care of the future. It did not.

The day I realised my money was simply sitting in a savings account losing value to inflation, I decided to change that. I went deep into personal finance, mutual funds, SIPs, and long-term investing. I got NISM certified as a Mutual Fund Distributor. And slowly, what started as self-education became a genuine passion.

InvestSmartFinance.com was born from that journey. I built this platform because I wished something like it existed when I was starting out — a place with clear answers, written by someone who actually understands both the discipline of engineering and the reality of building wealth on an ordinary salary.
